Absolutely. If anyone criticizes it tell them one thing. It applies to everyone. Not just autistic people. The double empathy gap happens to all of us throughout our lives. Everyone.

Therefore, Dr. Milton’s logic and conclusions hold no bias towards us. And that is crucial to prove legitimacy. He’s also correct that we, many who are either late or still not diagnosed as adults, are disproportionately affected. If so many are late or still not diagnosed into adulthood, ask yourself why?

Because he’s right.

I came to the same conclusion just before I found Kieran Rose’s video summary of the theory. That’s why it’s accurate and of the utmost importance to us.
