After reading your response, it is refreshing to find another self-aware autistic person seeking to help bring awareness and change to the autism community. A most diverse group of people whom I have observed can be found all over the world contrary to NT experts who claim autism is only seen in youth or the most impaired.

We know otherwise and through harsh lived experience.

Before responding here, I checked out the book you mentioned and it quickly piqued my interest. PTSD has recently emerged as quite an important topic in my life as it directly relates to autism. So, I copied the summary from GoodReads and shared it on Twitter for my followers to see.

Regarding the relevance and influence of PTSD in my life.. I encourage you to read the 8-part journey I wrote from June-mid-July this year documenting how PTSD ended up changing everything with how I now see autistic life. Especially my own.
