... and you would be correct. I'm a late-diagnosed autistic advocate. This is one of the essential clues to identifying the likelihood of being autistic. I've honed my pattern recognition not to look for a scattered and sometimes inconsistent list of behavioral traits.

I look for ones that are more indicative of autistic.. thinking patterns. Here is the reason why talking can reveal more than meets the eye: info-dumping. Info-dumping often coincides with monotropism and specific interests as well as fixation, another autistic trait.

Take it from me. Excessive talking is one of the more effective clues to identifying autistic behavior.
