Ask away. I’ve written extensively on my late diagnosis, late journey to actual and serious awareness, as well as layers of repressed trauma and healthcare discrimination.

I’ve observed that the first year after an adult-age late diagnosis can be the hardest. But it doesn’t have to be. Although there are typically next to zero support for adults, that is about to change. Adults such as myself are reaching out, sharing our stories, encouraging others, and providing hope to those in need (like myself, to be honest).

The days like those that I have endured to get here are numbered. Even as our numbers continue to grow. I’ll help in any way I can. I would like to encourage you to check out Kieran Rose’s two YouTube videos on the following theories:

Double Empathy Problem
Monotropism

He can be found under the username The Autistic Advocate.
