First, thank you for reading as well as responding. I’m kinda in one of those periods of you are not alone paradox. Still trying to share my recent writings.

Let’s see. Ages 6-13 would be, in the US, pre-school, kindergarten, and through about the start of junior high 7th grade. The thing with my pubic schooling is I was bullied so much, from 4th grade on, shortly after I graduated, I dumped most of my school memories to cope with all of it and how I was treated.

While I am now 43, a far cry from 18, then or now, I can’t remember enough to know was elementary school was like it I just finished it today. Today, my memory is sharp as a tack for one because I’ve endured discrimination several times since 2018. I’ve also documented much of it in my writings here while it’s so fresh.

I know 4th grade because one person, a bigger classmate, singled me out and bullied me every chance they got. Fifth grade on there’s nothing but blank memories. I have no doubt it was hard and I’ve observed how hard it often is for autistic and ADHD students.

Every fiber of my being wishes it were not so…

*hug*
