First, you’re a Jungian Analyst? Although I’m not as familiar with his works, Carl Jung, I know enough to be both impressed by his insight and mindful of his wisdom. There’s something that I didn’t get to explore, not yet at least, that you in particular may be familiar with..
Having read my “A Lifetime in Eight Years,” you may have noticed something if not for my commitment to help others and myself, then by my mention of Bruce Wayne.
I grew up enamored by the portrayal of the tragic loss of Bruce’s parents, such as in the Batman Animated Series in the 90s and Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy as I got older.
I didn’t say it in words, but referencing Wayne was the clue…
I’ve developed a similar hero complex as a result of my life. Though, not nearly as advanced as Wayne’s. It is still a driving force for every opportunity someone criticizes me for wanting to help more than a few people. My commitment, my pain and suffering are too great to settle for only helping a few.
Like Bruce Wayne, if I could I would help them all.
