I know exactly* what this framework actually represents now that I’m more familiar with it as a late-diagnosed autistic adult.

Pathologizing* suicide as a defect.

A defect that we, the attempt survivors, are solely responsible for to avoid society from having to face the truth.

We are not responsible for acts of suicide. Their shame and negligence are.

We would know.
Autistic people are treated the exact same way.
