I saw something similar in my upcoming article, “Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?”

At face value, the stats tell a story of autism as a phenomenon affecting today’s children. People like to come up with theories: too much screen time, vaccines, chemicals in the water — take your pick. Or they blame diagnosis-happy doctors for enabling greedy parents to access support funding.

I saw something similar in my upcoming article, “Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?” Our CDC doesn’t even recognize autistic adults.
