I was telling a follower on Twitter one thing I excluded from writing about more in this article. Optimism vs Pessimism. I believed it might be too divisive. There’s a chance optimistic people can help pessimistic or realistic people, autistic or not.

But one thing I haven’t written about also is a pattern I’ve recognized about Personality. At first, it started with personality conflicts in employment services followed by case management, counseling, and psychiatry. I wondered why I kept feeling put off by people who didn’t see things the way I did or were relatable.

It wasn’t just autism versus not. It was, again, optimism and pessimism. Personality. The more optimistic they were, the more I came into conflict with them. Just didn’t mesh well.
