Neither do I find myself liking it at this stage in my awareness either.

My way of referring to it is diagnosed ‘as’ autistic. But only when referring to that as it is part of my experience. Mine was diagnosed. Not self-aware. But my diagnosis was by far not enough. Treatment was designed for non-autistic people. So, simpler or more complex support needs just were not sufficient for my autistic needs.
