Since 1994 at age 13, when I was diagnosed as legally blind with myopia, I’ve naturally harkened to sound more than any other sense. I have explored a truly wondrous variety of music in the years since.
Although I have had this experience earlier in life than your rejuvenated exploration of music, it has had no less meaning or importance since July 2022, when I finally understood autism’s influence on my life, or June 2023, when I unmasked the trauma of my late diagnosis and how much the ignorance of it has ruined my socioeconomic development.
