Well, no pun intended, as a suicide attempt survivor, I prefer not to use the expressions Hang on, Hang in there, or other derivatives. I use things like hold on, and so forth.

😅

Like I said, no pun intended.

I’m holding on to the skin of my teeth right now. It just so happens that I was accepted to write for Medium’s largest mental health publication, Invisible Illness. I have completed a draft that discusses, for the very first time ever, decades of my lack of development as it relates to autism neglect.

In this case, I’ll be referring to my life as the data being used. Kinda quirky researching oneself.. when you think about it.. But, then again, I do have a Bachelors degree in History. Technically, I’m using my education to research ‘my’ history. The history of my life, as best I can recount it.

Do feel free to put my writing on blast wherever it will reach those who need it most. To be honest, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to last if my life remains as it currently is…

I’m trying with all I’ve got.
Attaining some sort of actual employment in research would save my life at this point. Until then, I’m holding on for as long as I can and refusing to keep my mouth shut.

🙏🏼
